Pros are Visual Development, Open Standards, Affordability, Rapid Application Development (RAD), Java Development, Wide range of Widgets and APIs, Web and Mobile App Development, Vendor Independence, Microservices Architecture, SaaS Offering and Customer Support. Cons: Missing Desktop Version and Work Loads, Learning Curve, Potential for Longer Development Times. Maintainability Concerns, Pricing Model, SEO Readiness. Deployment of these services was fairly simple, applying the services to a Cloud virtual machine with a standard operating system, with a Java web server implemented.
