Overall Comment:"Workday's transparency and commitment to customer success has taken a hit in the last year or so. Our ability to influence product direction is now highly compartmentalized, without any insight into how other customers are responding. Workday says they are using AI to gather and synthesize feedback, but again, there's no transparency in that process. The Customer Success program now seems to be a vehicle for additional sales. Whenever we meet with our CSM, our sales rep is also there. While there is little follow up on any issues we may have, the sales team is all over opportunities to license more products. While this is certainly disappointing, it's more or less in line with other corporate vendors. "
1) Biannual updates are easy, with no issues so far 2) Constant rollout of new features 3) We will be able to retire more legacy systems than just our old ERP, realizing even more ROI 4) Reduced headcount to maintain our ERP system 5) Cloud = built in disaster recovery and business continuity 6) Relatively easy to integrate with other systems
1) Security cannot be defined as granularly as we would like 2) Some implementation partners are not as customer focused as Workday 3) Some pieces of the Student product are not as tightly integrated with the rest of Workday as we would like 4) It's not cheap! And getting more expensive, with hidden gotchas in the contract that aren't appreciated. 5) Customization options are limited unless you buy Extend
