Overall Comment:"We went live with Workday HCM at our organization in October of 2021. The features and capabilities have met or exceeded our expectations. User reporting, onboarding and transaction audit tracking capabilities are just a few of the areas that have increased efficiencies."
Workday allowed us to move to a single sign-on system which reduced the complexity of accessing users personal data. With the implementation of Workday HCM/Payroll (New hire forms, HR job change forms, time sheets and time off requests), our company reduced paper usage by 60,000 pieces per year. Position control and open position capabilities in Workday allow our HR team and the department leaders to efficiently manage their teams. Finally, Workday has given us API integration capabilities with our HR vendors that were not available with our previous system.
It's not a dislike necessarily, but reporting at implementation will take longer than you think it will. The Workday language and terms are different and users need a little time to adjust, but we think that would be the case with any new system.
