Product(s): Docusign CLM
Overall Comment:"DocuSign CLM has been a game changer for our company, especially in our procurement department. We went from multiple contract repositories, different processes for contracts per team/user, and zero automation to fully established workflows, ability to analyze metadata across thousands of contracts, and a single repository for all contractual documents. We now have users approach the CLM team with ideas for more workflows and document types to add to the tool."
AI Assisted Review - this should be a game changer for anyone that negotiates contracts with vendors. The ability to have assistance with redlining and driving our users to negotiate contracts within a standard playbook to ensure we aren't accepting levels of risk that are outside of our standard policies and risk tolerances is invaluable. Metadata/automated reminders - the ability to capture as much metadata as we need and the flexibility to control the attributes and attribute groups has been a huge help in getting cleaner/better data across a large volume of contracts. The addition of automated reminders ensures that tasks get completed when a contract expiration or renewal comes up. Workflows - being able to create workflows that force compliance and adherence to business processes.
1. Would like all actions that can be taken in a contract workflow to be available on the document review screen. It's confusing to users to have to go out of the document to complete/cancel external review or cancel signature steps 2. Users have said that clicks and steps are not super intuitive. The functionality exists, but the steps are sometimes complicated which makes it harder to adopt and the users remain dependent on the few experts to walk through the process. 3. NOT a fan of the signing step only being through an email, the user is already in CLM and is used to going to the tasks or document review to take their next steps and they have to monitor their emails to find the correct signature requests. They should be able to jump to the signing process if it's their turn in the CLM workflow.
Sourcing needed a better handle on our contracting process and data. We had multiple repositories, disparate processes, and Legal was getting slammed with review requests through email that were hard to maintain and draining productivity.
