SOC Investigations Save Time but Response Speed and Customization Vary With Service
We went with this mainly because we didn't have the bandwidth to run a full SOC internally,and it honestly made things a lot easier for our team.The onboarding was smoother than i expected,and we were able to start seeing useful alerts pretty quickly. What i liked is the way their SOC team actually investigates alerts instead of just forwarding them.In a couple of cases,they gave clear explanations of what happened and what needed to be done,which saved us time going back and forth internally. Not everything is perfect though.Sometimes the response takes a bit longer than expected,and a few recommendations felt a bit generic.We had to follow up once or twice to get clearer answers. Overall,it's been relaiable and reduced a lot of noice for us,which was the main goal anyway.
