We appreciate their high level of support and responsiveness when we have issues. We also appreciate the steady product improvements and clear roadmap. 1Up has become a trusted part of our daily workflow, helping us turn knowledge into polished output faster and with more confidence.

Like

The customer service is exceptional. You can chat in-product and have an answer in minutes. I once started a support session and my ask was on the product roadmap 10 minutes later! The automating of questionnaires saves a lot of time on a 1st draft. It's good at finding content I may not have known existed and the related sources helps understand where the response was generated from. The ask 1up functionality is also nice for 1-off questions. The application has a good level of tunability without having too many knobs & dials to be overwhelming or get ourselves in trouble.

Like

It is affordable, it is user friendly already, but most importantly it is continuously improving through the feedback and suggestions we and other customers are providing. Even additional services that are often separate products are being implemented and thought through together with us. Not to be forgotten is the support that reaches excellence through accuracy and due to the follow the sun approach for us so far was always nearly instantly. Workarounds are provided if needed or product requests are logged and chased.

Dislike

I wouldn't say there is anything that we dislike about 1Up. The only thing I would change would be to integrate more of a ChatGPT like function that helps write long-form narrative RFP responses.

Dislike

Tends to be common to most genAI applications, especially if we include a lot of content (especially website scraping), but related sources tends to have a lot of sources for most responses, some don't always seem relevant. Can be hard to tell how it came up with a particular response.

Dislike

The product is young. This makes is perfect for us to have it affordable and we can tailor it towards our needs, but at the same time, there are a lot of features we are craving for that are not yet ready, although at least being added and in reach soon.

    Small Team Benefits From High Accuracy and Responsive Service With Modern Software

    After restructuring internally, our workload with RFQs was too high for the small team and the replies lagged heavily in terms of accuracy. This tool not only increased the quality of the RFQs substantially, it also introduced a good knowledge base to request features between the by now up to 4 different completely different solutions. Our demand for the tool required simple to no training of the employees and the feature requirements we are requesting from the supplier are being implemented, although we have the smallest package. We are getting a modern to the requirements tailored Software with a AAA service for a small price. The value for us is definitely 5 Stars.
