It's a vast improvement from what we used to have as our mechandising tool
1. The search performance, results have been great and near instant. 2. It's extremely customizable and developer friendly. Their api's and documentation has really helped with this. 3. Some very nice features that are included likes tolerances to typo's and autocompleting.
Since we are in the initial phase with one website, there has not been much to dislike. One minor challenge is that configuring advanced ranking and personalization features can require a learning curve for new users. However, the documentation and support make it manageable.
1. It's requires a bit of learning and isn't that intuitive. 2. Customisation can be difficult 3. Limited flexibility on filtering.
1. I find it to be limited without developer involvement, it can be difficult for non-technical users 2. Similar to my first point, there is a learning curve for advanced features, set up up is straightforward but for more advanced features it takes some time to get used to. 3. Pricing can scale to be quite high when search volumes and datasets increase.
