The data-driven approach allows us to reuse architecture information across multiple use cases, and reduce duplication and improving consitency.
Our businessdictionary solution enables us to view IT architecture accurately by showing system relationships and application linkages. Our graphical display system has let us spot overlapping features and dangerous points.
Ardoq does a very good job at giving us a good understanding of our application landscape. The visualisations are clear and intuitive, and I am able to quickly see how components depend on one another and where there might be congestion.

The process of moving data from old systems has proven challenging to me. The process requires manual work and data cleanup tasks which take a long time and lead to mistakes.
Commenting on an application or leaving notes for a colleague has been shown to be rather awkward and slow. This lack of integration hampers the flow of communication within our team and slows-down the decision making process.
