Performance of AWS WAF Across Market Features
AWS WAF Likes & Dislikes
It's cost effective, it's simple to integrate with the rest of our architecture, and it also works really well.
The ability to create Custom security rules tailored to specific needs provides flexibility and effectively blocks command web threats like (SQL) injection. The seamless integration with other AWS services is the most liking thing of this product.
It allows us to manage internet traffic according to our organization policies and enables easy monitoring of logs. It was easy to set up and have it automatically refresh the policies on servers immediately and I like that it allows passthroughs on trusted networks only.
can be bit complex to set up as a stand alone product, if using other than AWS for other infra.
I dislike most about AWS WAF is the steep learning curve, especially for users who are new to web security or AWS services. The configuration can be complex, and the interface could be more intuitive.
It needs more features in content filtering to avoid blocking essential sites based on the wrong filtering.

Quick Away to Protect with Amazing set of rules out of the box.
Exceptional easy to use and out of the box rules make most of the application secure enough against DDOS and other kind of exploitations . It does provide a huge set of rules out the box that helps you protect against the most common ( even uncommon ) threats. Also, optional rules for extra cost for specific threats.
