Smooth migration of on-prem VMware workloads to Azure No need to re-architect applications Familiar VMware toolset Strong integration with native Azure services High availability and enterprise grade infrastructure
I like how I can use the existing VMware load in Azure without needing to rewrite the whole app as I am kind of familiar with vSphere and vSAN. It offers fully managed services which allows me to only focus on the workload and the rest it handles itself.
-Stability -Easy management -Smooth integration with our existing VMware environment
Higher cost compared to native cloud solutions Dependency on VMware ecosystem and licensing Limited flexibility compared to cloud native architectures Requires careful planning for networking and integration Scaling can be expensive for smaller workloads
I noticed while tuning it still needs VMware expertise and the initial setup does require proper planning.
-Support response times -More proactive guidance from the support team would be appreciated -Communication during incidents can be improved
