I like how I can use the existing VMware load in Azure without needing to rewrite the whole app as I am kind of familiar with vSphere and vSAN. It offers fully managed services which allows me to only focus on the workload and the rest it handles itself.
We haven't encountered too many problems; I'd pay every penny it cost, it's saving us a lot of work.
