Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage Likes & Dislikes
What I like most about Back Blaze is the easy attitude, like things are simple, Junior IT can easily create a cloud backup for organization and get to know the product in days, the flexible restore process saves us a lot of headaches and above all its the back blaze support who make the different, the support center is something to admire, we need them for one time and I still remember the good service they got
It follows the keep it simple philosophy, is very easy to prepare and the management of the S3 buckets is effective and smart , and its price is very competitive.
Backblaze B2 is very low cost compared to other cloud providers. There are a lot of available as S3 compatible APIs making it easier to integrate with existing tools and applications. Pay-as-you-go pricing is helpful for smaller companies that do not have a lot of data.
Sometimes the backup speed can be really slow, especially for big files like CAD and big projects. The user interface is less intuitive when you need to do things deeply and the thing I dislike about back blaze its, they got one datacenter from my remember so it's kind of concern while your organization need to be secured and spread on additional geographic locations.
Whe the volum of information and the number of files grows a lot (in our case over 25TB), the service causes problems. We've suffered transfer issues and browsing problems within the file repositories (S3 buckets in our case).
Weekend and after-hours support is limited. There are also fewer data center regions compared to the major providers which can affect latency and compliance requirements for certain geographies.

B2 Cloud Storage Offers Simplicity but Faces Limitations with Large File Backups
B2 Cloud storage is a really good product, it's way too easy to use, reliable, it's a solid choice for cloud storage and for me it was the best product for organization backup, the pricing is great compared to competitions and the setup for this product is straightforward and easy to implement. - IT ASSOCIATE50M-1B USDManufacturingReview Source
Backblaze B2 Offers Affordable Storage With Easy Integration and S3-Compatible APIs
Needed a low-cost, highly scalable object storage service. We were using another vendor and it was very costly and we trialed BackBlaze and thought it was very easy to set up and use as we integrated it with our Veeam backup server. - HEAD OF IT<50M USDEnergy and UtilitiesReview Source
Easy Deployment Is Overshadowed By Slowness Handling Extensive Backup Storage
In our case, the product worked properly until we increased the amount of data we stored, in our case backups (around 36TB). The setup and deployment are easy to do, but after some time as we increased the amount of data, we started to have gransfer issues, and the management tools (like the file explorer), became very slow as they were not prepared for the volume of files. - DAM SPECIALIST II50M-1B USDTravel and HospitalityReview Source
Classic FTP-Style Interface Offers Easy Document Management and Reliable Access
As a more mature software user, I find the interface, which resembles classic FTP drag and drop, to be very user-friendly. However, the terminal is also available if I need to perform more nuanced tasks. - VP, Software Development<50M USDSoftwareReview Source
