- Firstly, I like how easy the tool is to use. It's very functional and the UX design allows me to teach myself a lot of the basic settings. - Secondly, the communication is exceptional - be that with the appointed CSM, through either email or monthly video calls, or with the Bloomreach Support Team, who efficiently answer support tickets and provide reliable guidance on fixing issues. - Lastly, I find Bloomreach inspiring. I haven't worked with a product like this previously in my career so it is great to have the opportunity to learn about different ways of merchandising.
Business users like the interface and the feature set.
1. The relationship between our team and theirs. 2. The dynamic categories feature has allowed us to increase the number of category pages and enabled us to merchandise at a more granular level. 3. Bloomreach support - the team are always really quick to respond and very helpful/knowledgeable about the tool. 4. Analytics - although there could be improvements, there are still lots of different ways to analyse performance which is really helpful. 5. The merchandising rules make it really flexible to use and allow us to create a personalised experience across the site.
There are a few minor points which I dislike about the product, they are, - Reoccurring issues happen which require a support ticket to fix, for example, 'failure to load' commonly happens. - The way Bloomreach handles languages, we struggle with search functions that leverage the DE language - or languages that have special characters. - Reporting could be better, it would be great to have more freedom when building reports and to be able to go into more granular detail.
There is no cost control using their integration. Bots can call the API and Bloomreach will charge for the usage.
1. Sometimes the tool can be buggy eg when using experience manager it can freeze and the only way to resolve is to refresh the browser which takes you back to the landing page. 2. Analytics could be improved eg being able to compare two different periods and be shown the difference in performance. I think there is a lot in the analytics tool but it could be simplified to make it easier to digest.
