What I liked the most was how flexible it was and how easy it was to integrate into our other systems. Doing so was always pretty straightforward. What I also liked was how it helped keep everything organized with their built in digital asset management tools. It helped keep product copy, images, documents, etc. organized.
The system has a simple and intuitive GUI, which makes it user friendly for our product management team. The technical support from the highly competent team in Bluestone has also been outstanding and quick. After the first year running we found the system to be very cost-effective compared to similar solutions.
Scalability, flexibility and they take responsibility in the industry
If your catalog structure isn't clearly defined beforehand, it can get a little messy during the implementation. Another potential setback might be change management and training for any users you may have that are not tech-savvy.
We are overall satisfied with Bluestone PIM but theres always room for improvement; The product search feature often gives unprecise results (filter works fine), the handling of product bundles could be better and the application's browser window does not scale well on mobile devices.
