I have a few comments to this product - Connection and re-connection is pretty slow. It interrupts the connection for a couple of seconds. This could be immediate so I can connect to VPN during a meeting. - It doesn't support Yubikey for 2FA.

Cisco Secure Client Likes & Dislikes

Like

The flexibility of the Secure Client is very impressive. Combining different functionalities and using a central component for different Cisco products is a perfect solution. From an administrative perspective, the management is very comfortable. Also a point is the visibility you can get our of the Secure Client over general logs but also depending on the modules that are installed. A plus point is also the GUI which is very user friendly and easy to use. Development is also ongoing steadily from Cisco regarding the Secure Client.

Like

It's pretty stable. It works every time.

Like

Stable VPN connectivity for long sessions. Straight forward to understand and provide instructions for end users with limited technical skills. Good integration with existing Cisco network infrastructure.

Dislike

There is not much to improve on the Secure Client. What could be improved is the integration of the Secure Client on different OS (like Windows, Apple OS) to the System itself and can work better together.

Dislike

- It can't be fully automated. I use a script to dial it but it should be supported by default.

Dislike

Updates to the client can sometimes be disruptive and require restarts. Troubleshooting connection issues can be challenging. Dated interface.
