I cannot imagine hybrid work without AnyConnect VPN solution. Works seamlessly with daily operations. No more messy policies with the Firepower management tool. The last one is integration with other Cisco solutions and ecosystem.
Overall the product is stable, and any bugs that I've hit with the platform have not impacted operations in any way.
So far there has been no downtime and very happy customers. Few support tickets over the years and I'm still using the voice portion of it
In my opinion, the learning curve can be the main challenge. You will need time to catch all the features and solutions you can implement and improve your business. For smaller businesses, the price can be too high. Maybe a better knowledge base would be useful.
Existence of FlexConfig. Lack of main stream EIGRP configuration. This product replaced the Cisco's old firewall product line, but wasn't actually a true replacement. The UI is clunky and ultimately Secure Firewall lacks CLI capabilities.
I contacted Cisco TAC and requested them to add a few columns so customers can see which devices are registered and which are not. It's a simple thing but still after using it for 17 years there is still no option.
