Implemented for global use in native apps (incl China) and provided great service for our customers
Cloudinary keeps all images, videos and other files in one place with easy access for members of our marketing team. Automatic processing and resizing for various devices increases the uniformity of image quality.
Most tickets I've submitted to the support team have been completed to my full satisfaction. Regardless of whether or not I liked the answer, I will usually receive a good explanation and if it involves something with my account, then my CS team is looped in and they immediately reach out or we'll touch base about it during our scheduled meetings.
Definite feature bloat in the UI. On the occasional times we've needed support their staff are super helpful and turnaround times are good, but reaching a solution has taken a little while (although we are an abnormal use case!)
We cannot design specific workflows according to our needs or make the platform fully compatible with our current CMS. This lack of flexibility demands more workarounds and hampers a fully seamless brand asset experience.
Sub accounts aren't treated separately, they're tied under one master account which makes it nearly impossible to manage additional add-ons, integrations, settings, reporting, and more, on a sub-account basis. There is limited reporting as well. I'd like to see who logged in and used what and where my asset is being used. Reporting is very generic.

I enjoy working with the support team and our customer service reps, I always feel like I can very easily get a hold of a human to walk me through anything. There is a consistent stream of innovation regardless of whether or not it applies to our company. As a primary DAM user, I've been able to improve some workflows as it pertains to photo editing, storing, and sharing. Cloudinary also supports many third party integrations should I ever need them, as well as add-ons such as image tagging and recognition.
