Ease of Use Usefullness of the data Support

Integrated tools are WEB Based and well developed. EMR data models within Caboodle have been well design and well documented. User Web has a wealth information in order to support product.

There is just so much data out there that processing it to develop meaningful insights feels like wading through an avalanche of data. The main disadvantage of this kind of information is that it is not sufficiently presented for the users.

The licensing is a bit expensive

Epic certification required for my team to admin and even use certain areas of User Wed is time consuming. Even my architects had to be certified in order to work on Cogito - Caboodle.

Epic Cogito - what a complex ecosystem to support BI Reporting

Complex ecosystems with tools that require certification for internal team to support. Epic training will not costly is time consuming. Epic also wants to be engaged in all areas due to our hosting environment including things which are not being consumed from Clarity or Chronicles. EMR data model in Caboodle is good and meets the need for the organization and allows extendability.

We went live in June 2018 with many of the Epic applications. This was a huge change for our organization who previously had been using many different methods and systems to support patient care and documentation. The support from Epic and the my individual account manager and account coordinator was superb. I could not have asked for a better team!
