The platform offers integrated modules with linked records making it highly efficient and scalable. Once implementors become familiar with one modules setup, customization, and deployment, the setup, customization, and deployment of additional modules will follow a consistent pattern, streamlining implementation across the board. Usability is a strong point: the user experience remains consistent throughout all modules with unified menus, reports and dashboards. Built on the Salesforce platform, it enables connectivity with other applications supporting broader integrations. We also appreciate that the CQ solution stays current with the latest advancements in AI, continuously evolving to meet modern business needs.
The EQMS software stands out for its intuitive and comprehensive range of features that support end-to-end quality management. it also covers EHS and digital workflow automation and digital batch record which we are planning to introduce to our organization.
(1) Comprehensive and Integrated Modules: The platform's modular design enables seamless end-to-end connectivity across processes, eliminating the need to duplicate information in other systems. This drives efficiency and ensures data consistency throughout the organization. (2) Seamless System Integration: Built on a robust Salesforce backbone, the solution integrates easily with ERP, MES, HRS and other enterprise systems. This creates a unified, real-time data environment that enhances support for information-based decision making and operational agility. (3) User Friendliness and Unmatched Scalability: The system's intuitive interface, multilingual capabilities, and mobile accessibility have enabled rapid adoption across our global network. This deployment represents the largest EQMS rollout ever attempted by any company. A milestone that would not be possible without a platform capable of meeting the complex needs of a global enterprise at scale.
The initial setup took longer than anticipated. While the product has a strong core, it couldn't be used straight out of the box - key business requirements, especially around access and permissions, had to be defined first, which extended the planned implementation timeline. However, after deployment of the first 2 modules, we gained valuable insights that helped us ask the right questions and better plan future configurations. The demo sessions have been instrumental in guiding the setup and customization to align with our business more effectively. CQ is a partner all the way and we grow together and learn from each other. A benefit and a challenge are the periodic updates of the Salesforce platform and CQ platform that need to be planned and taken into consideration. While these updates bring valuable enhancements and fixes and keep the system aligned with industry advancements, they also require careful planning and coordination on our side. Taking these updates into consideration has become and essential part of our implementation and improvement strategy.
The main challenges we've encountered relate to communication and cost. As most discussions are coordinated with teams not based in Singapore (via team calls or email), there have been occasional communication breakdowns, which can lead to delays or misunderstandings. Additionally, many of the changes we request - often configuration-related - come at an added cost, which adds up over time. A more flexible approach to minor customizations and clearer communication would significantly enhance the overall experience.
(1) Upgrade/Maintenance schedule: Because the platform is built on Salesforce, it requires at least three mandatory platform upgrades per year. While these updates ensure continuous innovation and security, they can introduce planning and resource challenges due to the need for frequent validation and regression testing across the integrated modules. (2) Cost: While ComplianceQuest is not the most expensive solution on the market, it is also not the least. However, the impact on cost is balanced by their thoughtful approach to pricing, ensuring user access and scale are considered. (3) Limited Availability of Qualified Integrators: Currently there are few, if any, third-party integrators in the market with the experience to deploy ComplianceQuest. This leaves organizations with two options: rely solely on ComplianceQuest internal resources or use your own teams. Depending on the desired speed and complexity of deployment, this limitation can lead to delays.
