The outplacement services offered by Connor were instrumental in assisting me during a rough period at my workplace. The idea of getting help from professionals and getting resume help and tips on how to search for a job was useful.
My first meeting with Connor Outplacement Services provided me useful information. The service helped enhance my resume and I liked being able to use the program's online resources especially the job listing feature.
Connor Outplacement interested me with the focus on interview training and CV preparation. It appeared to be valuable to have a team that would assist our down sized employees in fine tuning their interview skills and then to perfect their resume.
It was a bit old fashioned to present the platform serving to find the information regarding careers. It was sometimes difficult to go through the different tools and information which at times takes multiple clicks.
I wanted specific career guidance but felt the program challenged me alone through my job hunting efforts. It proved hard to set meetings with my consultant because we needed to reschedule sessions multiple times.
While the coaches reviewed and gave advice to the departing employees, it didn't appear that the advice was catered to the individuals leaving the firm. It does come with fixed recommendations which were not very beneficial at all.
