What stood out most One system held every registration which removed the usual mix of spreadsheets and forms. We were able to track students, parents and support staff in real time which helped each campus plan more effectively. Session bookings, reminders and on the day check in worked without any issues. Post event reports gave us a clear view of turnout and interest by course whicvh helped with follow up activity.
it handles a larger number of attendees
The OnArrival app is a great tool for managing onsite check-ins and tracking live attendance. It's user friendly for both attendees and staff. Cvent also lets us increase our guest engagement by implementing the Cvent Events App. Live discussion posts, game center, appointments are just come of the features within Cvent Events App that got our attendees connecting with each other. Lastly, Cvent can handle large scale events (500 people) with ease which allows us to create a custom event experience.
the setup takes time when you built out the full workflow. some areas feel heavier than needed. Small changes often mean extra steps which is a bit slow. The cost increases fast when you add more events or extra features.
it is not as intuitive as other solutions
Although we can create custom events, we are limited to certain coding to make specific changes to our website. Depending on the package you get, you may also be limited on certain features of Cvent that only a higher tier user has. The learning curve can be time consuming but once you past that, using Cvent is a breeze.
