We transitioned to Deel to simplify and centralize our global HR operations and it has transformed the way we manage our workforce. Before switching to Deel, we were juggling multiple HR systems across different regions and processes. With Deel, we were able to consolidate 5 separate HR systems into one platform while seamlessly running payroll across all 6 countries where we have employees. The support has been extremely valuable. Having a dedicated HR Manager has helped us navigate complex multi-state compliance requirements with more confidence. They partnered closely with us to build an employee handbook tailored to the various states where we employ our team members. State tax and registration management has been especially helpful as a remote-first company with employees in multiple states. Deel has streamlined the process significantly and provides guidance as we continue to hire in new states. Benefits administration is super smooth under Deel PEO. Open enrollment, employee support, onboarding and ongoing benefits management have all felt more streamlined and organized compared to prior providers.

My top favorite things about Deel have been the ease of payroll, dedicated HR and CSM support and the additional offerings like Deel Engage and Deel IT.

How unified everything feels. Onboarding, global ability to hire, comp data, workforce planning, engagement tools are all part of one platform which saves a huge amount of time. Employee experience is smooth and it removes a lot of manual work for HR. But what I value the most is the partnership with the Deel team, they are proactive, fast and collaborative.

Dislike

I don't specifically dislike anything but more so a couple areas that could be improved and possibly have improved since we started using them in early 2025. Implementation was a heavy lift, especially while migrating from multiple systems and managing employees across several states and countries. I do think a certain level of complexity was expected though given the scope of our transition. We have also gone through 3-4 CSMs in the last 2 years and that can create challenges with getting them up to speed quickly on our organization, but we have a CSM now that has been absolutely amazing - attentive, supportive, and organized.

Nothing major but some things could still improve A few modules could benefit from deeper customisation for more complex internal structures, but I am aware the Deel team is working on this. During rapid feature releases, the interface sometimes feels slightly ahead of the documentation.
