My overall experience has been very positive. Once deployed, it's stable, efficient and largely hands-off. It feels well-suited for modern data center environments where reliability and ease of operations matter, without needing constant attention from the storage team.

The inline data reduction is effective and helps optimize capacity without noticeable performance impact. I also like how well PowerStore integrates with VMware and other enterprise platforms and how day-to-day management feels intuitive compared to traditional enterprise arrays.

The main downside are cost and some operational complexity. while simpler than older high end arrays, it still has a learning curve, especially for advanced features. Initial setup and optimization benefit from experienced admins or vendor guidance. Pricing can also be a challenge for smaller environments, making it harder to justify unless you need its enterprise- grade capabilities and scalability

I do not have any dislikes of this product. With Dell's assistance, it was easy to install, configure, and monitor.

Powerstores Installation Shows Significant Performance and Data Reduction Improvements

We have had our Powerstores installed for nearly two years now, they are brilliant and the performance we get now you can see the difference, the data reduction is brilliant as well we are able to store much more than our old storage. The were easy to install and set up and get our vcentre to see the storage and get it working and in production within a few days after testing etc.

I have engaged Support on a few occasions for upgrades and advice and have always received great service.
