The best part of Digicert CertCentral is its robust API-driven automation for certificate lifecycle management. We easily integrate it with our existing workflows, enabling automatic publishing, renewal and deletion of certificates. The alerting mechanism for upcoming expirations and the ability to manage multi-domain and wildcard certificates have been game-changers in maintaining uptime and efficiency.
Its simple tp use
Ease of purchase - While this is usually pretty easy since vendors want money, I am glad to say it is seamless and easy here as well. Certificate creation - It is an easy workflow with various options and ease of recoding, reissuing, and revoking certificates quickly and easily. Deployment - My favorite part is the download options once the cert is created. All the formats you could want, and the intermediary and CA right there each time. No hunting for it or exporting it yourself.
While the platform is powerful, the reporting dashboard caould be more customizable to suit different operational and compliance views. At times, role-based access control setup and bulk operations require additional steps that could be simplified. Additionally, response time for certain non-critical support tickets could be improved for enterprise customers.
Constant timeouts of the product and Support is usually not helpful
I wish adding additional SANs to a certificate mid-life was easier, even though that is rarely needed. Domain validation on domains is separate from domain validation on an order, creating multiple TXT records. When making copies of a wildcard cert, I wish it could be extended past initial creation date without messing up all of the other copies. I supposed that is not as much a problem with the platform as much as certs in general.

A great platform for Digital security and SSL certificates
We are using DigiCert service for our external certificates. I must say their service is excellent in many terms. Here is key points that I really appreciate in DigiCert 1. Easy to integrate with third party certificate life cycle management such as Keyfactor. 2. I never saw any problems in last 6 years during renewal or issue of a certificate.
