what i like most is the combination of centralized lifecycle management, strong automation options (ACME/SCEP) and solid visibility. Instead of chasing expiring Certificate in email and Excel, we now have one place to see what's deployed, when it expires, and where we can automate renewals.
The interface is intuitive Certificate issuance is easy The product is very adaptable and can be customised as required
What we like most: The Dashboard gives a quick rundown of where we stand with all certificates. Each category can be highlighted to give a deeper dive into current and future state. The ability to set alerts and assign them to requesting teams during the SSL certificate creation process is invaluable. We are able to give alerts to impacted teams at various intervals to give them time to create new if still needed. Being able to cluster agent resources to offer an HA solution is crucial to staying online during maintenance windows and other hardware outages.
The UI feels dated and click heavy, the onboarding and documentation assumes a fair bit of PKI knowledge, and it's not very friendly to non-security teams without internal ratings.
Sometimes there are issues with the approvals of certificates which get stuck Should be able to duplicate the interface on multiple tabs to be able to switch between sections Logout timer is too quick
Possible issues: Being able to clean up and remove expired certificates would seem to be helpful. Sectigo notes, this is not done for audit purposes. Auto install of certificates will be helpful, especially when the external certificate duration is reduced again. This may be a me thing and not Sectigo. We have several features, including key vault, that are not available to us.

Certificate Issuance Smooth With Sectigo, Reporting And Approval Process Could Be Improved
i'm an happy user/administrator of Sectigo Cert Manager since few years, the service is always on and without failures. Coming from a bad experience with certificate issuance with Thawte CA i think it's a good service. No more domain validation as a nightmare, validation is smooth and clear. The only aspect i think it's not clear in the WEB user interface is the missing view on finance aspects, i think it could be improved.
