“Overall got but with room for improvements”
Our company migrated to a new SAP version, of which the process began last 2016. DXC has been our partner. Their people are good and competent enough to do the migration and implementation. We managed to go-live right on the target date. What I see as need for improvement is in the segregation of duties during and post-implementation phase of the project. I noticed that some devs have had access to the production.

The product itself is lacking functionality and clunky/antiquated. I wish the actual tool was more up-to-date.

Smooth Service Transition led to strategic partnership
We started an outtasking initiative for two reasons: business continuity after company split and radical cost reduction. DXC has approach us proactively with offerings for AMS and Business Outcome Services and acted very professionally and showed very high commitment during the obligatory tendering phase. After the decision the project setup incl. onboarding of experienced onshore and offshore team went smooth and fast. DXC showed flexibility to start the services and kept the customer requirements and situation as first priority. Despite the agressive schedule the team managed to complete the Transition Phase inkl. Knowledge Transfer, Shadowing, Reverse Shadowing in time with high quality. This was mainly due to the detailed methodology and experience of the team. During the project we experienced some quality issues, for which the team reacted quickly and corrected the gap. Communication and change management internally and externally was also excellent. Internal marketing for motivating the team and externally the expectation management and continuous improvement after service transition was very important. Overall we had a very good co-operative project focusing on the ultimate goal. We believe that strategic partnership brings the most benefit for application services. Customer engagement is key for the organisation
We have the engagement of SAP support and new developments. The engagement has been there from 2007 onwards. DXC's intent to engage with customers for long term is appreciable. Their approach to stretch during the time when we require additional support or within short time is commendable. The ability to engage with the customer seems to be within the organisation within every level. Since the engagement is about people's ability and talent, few instance we had challenges with few of the consultants on their support. However, this was always discussed and resolved.
