The asset tracking is very comprehensive, providing detailed visibility into each assets history, performance, and maintenance schedule. The platform also integrates very well across modules and of course interacts very nicely with other Oracle services such as procurement and inventory.
Its proper lifecycle management of an asset and tracking of assets based on sites location identification.
The robustness of the solution is unmatched. We are now able to completely automate and visualize our business in a way not previously thought.
The initial implementation and configuration is slightly complex, requiring a fairly high degree of technical expertise and time to align with existing internal processes. The user experience can also feel slightly dated at times, but it doesn't impact functionality or usability.
Price and Licensing
It was a little overwhelming at first moving into the E Suite and we had implementation partners that were not super knowledgeable. If they could improve the onboarding experience, that would tremendously increase the time to value.

Oracle eBS Asset Management Tool
Highly customizable but the reports and dashboards are not that intuitive. Look and feel seems outdated. Recommended for users who have limited datasets and fixed reports. Analytics would require different sets of tools. Overall becomes heavy and lot of licensing cost if you want to leverage it fully. IOT data can be absorbed but needs to be planned properly for the scale and error correction. More focus on capturing data directly from the sources instead of batch input.
