It's highly packed with features and customizations, which is a double edged sword. While it offers a lot of utility and custom tailored operations, it can also get very complex to the point of getting lost until you experiment enough with it that you become proficient. That being said, the customer support is excellent, knowledgeable and quick to answer questions, explain things, or even schedule a zoom meeting to show you in real time how to achieve your goals.

“MaintainX Offers Intuitive Interface, But Software And Support Waits Raise Concerns”

The functionality of the products and services MaintainX provides is sound, but not perfect. It's software needs to work better to provide data to its customers. I also feel its customer service chat system could use some improving. The response times on the chat services are a bit too long for my interest. To put a value I would estimate my wait time on "human" responses to my various inquiries is in the hours range rather than the minutes range that I would like to see. Furthermore, the response times on requested updates to the software are not manifested in the software in a timely manner. Simple edits to a software should be completed in days or weeks rather than the months or years I have experienced with this software.

Definitely the customer service. I can't say enough about how great it is. In today's era, it's pretty uncommon to be able to get directly to a real human being for help and in such a prompt and easy manner without wading through ai assistants and outsourced call centers first. I really appreciate that and place a high value on that.

I like the intuitive dashboard and interface of MaintainX. I spend a lot of time building in the software and find the framework of each category to be quick and easy.

Like

Procedures and the ability to customize. Creating specific rights for certain users. The reporting options are AMAZING. Tracking inventory is extremely beneficial. Personally, I love being able to cater the system to best fit our needs as a company.

Dislike

At first blush, its a bit overwhelming and complex. There is a great help section to read through an get direction and of course customer service is always an option but perhaps a video tutorial at initial sign on or an animated walk through would be a better improvement over having to read the how to's.

Dislike

I dislike the mobile app. I feel like the PO section could be improved upon to allow for better functionality.

Dislike

Not being able to assign a sub asset to more than one Asset. Not being able to use the Work Station feature on a regular account. I dislike that we did not know about MaintainX sooner!

    Phenomenal business move, MaintainX is the way!

    From the start, the MaintainX team has been exceptional. We are in the 3rd year of using this program and I have yet to be disappointed. During the process I have had many questions (some off the wall) and they've ALWAYS been able to answer or assist. They take any feedback I provide as an opportunity to improve their system. The ease of importing information from our previous platform over to MaintainX was a breeze. Once the information was imported, that's when the real fun began! We realized all the different options and customization available at our fingertips! We were able to build MaintainX around our needs as a company. Our Account Manager has been by our side each step of the way with detailed responses and walkthroughs when need be. They are always looking for ways to improve the system and ways to help you grow as a company. The ease of inventory tracking and identifying problems via work orders and reports has helped us as a Maintenance Department improve as a whole. We can run any report imaginable. For our work orders, the simplicity of the layout, creating procedures to fit machine specific needs and adding photos has increased our attention to detail and our ability to streamline across all departments. MaintainX was an excellent decision we made as a company and look forward to keeping up our momentum in learning and growing!

    MaintainX, not your average tool.

    Overall, I really like how MaintainX brings teams together to work as a cohesive unit. Work orders and procedures can tap multiple resources when needed automatically with very little oversight which brings efficiency to processes that could otherwise prove taxing and challenging.

    The staff are great, they are highly responsive and nearly always resolve the issue the day it is reported. The Platform is constantly growing, they are adding more functionality and streamlining processes.

    Scalability and Customization Provide Flexibility But Learning Curve Remains Significant

    We are fairly new into our MaintainX experience with roughly 6 months of usage, but everything so far has been great. The vast number of new capabilities was a bit of a learning curve in comparison to our old system, but this truly allowed us to setup a system we can grow with.
