The software is improving and being updated, yet the mobile app still does not have a calendar included, so the team knows what everyone is doing at the moment.
1. The system is cumbersome to use. 2. The ability to track and specifically report on asset detailed information is poor 3. Support is slow and initial changes to the system took much too long to solve.
One of the main weaknesses in the iPad interface for X4, it requires separate development of forms and has limited layout functionality. The second weakness is around the the number of configurable fields (256) available in the system which has limited some of the things we would like to do within the system, however this is an X4 limitation only vs X5. The third weakness would be the function editor within the system that uses FoxPro, this isn't as intuitive as a more updated language and has some limitations. Although it isn't too hard to learn, it can be a little cumbersome to write 'complex' functions and math.
