I believe Esker does a great job staying ahead and updating their application. Most specifically, their new functionality of auto-updates excites us.
Auto match payment - invoices to payment in multiple options by value, date, remittance and customer. Remittance mapping - AI learning and automatic mapping Push to ERP - Whilst I have it set to update our ERP on the hour, I can push this at anytime to update the system and avoid wait times! I can then close the sync when I need downtime to close accounting periods also.

Data between the modules struggle to communicate with one another. For example, when a deduction is made, it would be nice if collections would know about it and vice versa.
Training by Esker staff - Trainer was not across product or slides that were displayed. Training was not at the right level. Dashboards and Reporting should have been part of the system. This was not provided until very late after integration and took many attempts to obtain a reasonable dashboard with analytics Errors cannot be filtered or sorted (to the top) when allocating a payment. Need to go through each screen to find the 'red' boxes.
1. Some reporting that leadership is requesting is not available. 2. Some type of documents, such as side-by-side columns are not readable by Esker, hence, cannot be automated. 3. If there is any issue with a payment, we have to request the bank to resend the whole file instead of just being able to manually load the 1 payment with the issue.
