1) It is very intuitive and easy to use. If I can't figure out how to do something (which is rare), I am able to quickly find the answer to my question in their online resources. 2) I love their clustering feature which allows you to see documents in clusters based on terms. This makes it easy to select the terms that you want to focus on. 3) The data visualizer allows you to get a big picture look at the docs in the platform.
(1) There are so many search options available. (2) It automatically saves my searches (3) It is easy to assign batches for review. (4) redacting is easy, and being able to redact an Excel Spreadsheet is the BEST!!
The platform is incredibly user friendly while still offering advanced tools like predictive coding, Storybuilder and seamless productions.
There is sometimes downtime in the evening for maintenance, which can be disruptive. The cost is high and can be prohibitive for small firms. Some law firms are not familiar with Everlaw so may be reluctant to use it.
When doing production sets, I like to group them by type or discovery request no, and then sort them chronologically. I would especially LOVE the option to manually move items around before producing. Right now, I have to do several small sets so I can get them in the correct order. I don't use Everlaw for most of my cases because I have other platforms that fit my workload better in most cases. However, I do need it from time to time for special projects that cannot be done elsewhere. I wish there was a single product that would encompass the best capabilities of EverLaw, and other Vendors. And even better, if there was a trial presentation part in there too (like OnCue and NOT Trial Director), it would be the ultimate game-changer for me!!
Email threading. I don't find it easy to use or work with when trying to narrow my search scope for a review set.
