Until October 2024, Examity's proctoring platform will continue to be operational for test-takers. Post this timeline, all remote examinations proctored will be transitioned to the ProctorU Platform. Assistance for test-takers with the Examity platform and remote proctoring services for potential clients are also provided. The company's overall focus lies in offering flexible and effective remote proctoring solutions.

Online proctoring presents a number of technological and logistical challenges for any proctoring service provider. Examity has shown itself to be adept at meeting these challenges while providing excellent service to end users. Examity's proctors are usually well-trained and willing to troubleshoot technical impediments with our students to ensure effective delivery of proctoring services.
The combination of multi-factor authentication with facial recognition technology builds important security layers for maintaining exam honesty. Real-time monitoring became possible when I selected live proctoring as my option.
The ability for Examity to allow for exams to be taken online at the students' convenience was a big plus for our university. The students would be able to select a larger number of times and locations for their exams, thus eliminating many clashes.
While Examity's end-user network requirements are reasonable, it would be nice if they could lower the upload requirement so more students could use their service.
The ability to share screens failed to work properly at random times during the test. Technical problems made exams hard to take and made students doubt if the platform could handle important tests properly.
The problem with Examity has been the high incidence of false positives with the automated proctoring detection systems. During the exam, students would be fined for what seemed like petty offenses such as looking away from the screen or changing posture.

Examity provides our students with ample flexibility in exam times and system types. On average, proctors are well-trained and helpful. Examity's bandwidth requirements are low enough for most of our rural students to use the service.
