Could be the adaptability and customisability of the WAF which allows users to configure rules and policies to their specific needs. The performance and speed since it is running on Fastly global network which ensures that implementing these measures does not impact the site performance.
It performs it's function well, does not consume a lot of computing resources, and is regularly updated with filtering rules based on threat intelligence to keep the protections up-to-date.

Could bit difficult to do the initial setup depending on the environment as it offers different installation methods. Also it comes with a price as it offers premium and advanced protection compare to other WAF solutions.
Some of the rules are opaque to the end-user, you don't exactly know what signals the rules are looking for, this makes it a little harder to evaluate whether you want to enable/use them.
Initially lack of customisation for the captchas (but this has since been resolved). Some obscurity around bot classification/ rules (but also common across similar vendors) Still feels like there's some segregation between signal sciences and fastly platform - would be nice for this to be further unified (though it's already so much better than 2 years ago).
