Being able to high five colleagues when their effort has contributed to my goals.
My favorite part of 15Five is the 1-to-1. You can easily customize the questions to provide variance from week to week, or whatever cadence you set up for your team. Being able to change cadences for each team member is also great, being able to provide more support and guidance for those that may need it, but also giving more autonomy to those that need less frequent check-ins. It's quite an intuitive and user-friendly platform. You don't need to be an HR or People professional by any means to navigate the tool and find the features you're looking for. This is great when you want to give team managers more flexibility to use the tool how they see fit for their team.
High fives, 1:1 feedback, objectives and key results
The get to know you part is uncomfortable. I prefer to keep my personal life personal; it helps me maintain work-life balance. It appears that the check-ins should be less frequent.
I honestly can't think of much to say about dislikes about the product. As a more basic user, I might not have as many challenges or frustrations compared to an admin or super-user. We have been using it more for growth goals and conversations around such. However, we also have a separate tool for our HRIS, and the two have never been integrated. I imagine this may be due to integration challenges, which may cause your team to have to do some additional manual work. Although I really enjoy the 1-to-1 features, I would also like to see more variety in some of the questions. If you do weekly check-ins through the tool, it can start to feel a bit repetitive. This is especially true for questions around projects that don't tend to change from week-to-week, meaning there's no updates to provide and the questions can really be skipped.

Intuitive Employee and Performance Management: Great for team member check-ins
My overall experience with 15Five has been quite positive. We've mainly used it for performance management, growth goals, and 1-to-1s. It's a fairly standard platform that's quite customizable, and great for having one place to keep and track employee development and growth. It's been quite a useful tool for our culture which is based around radical candor and continuous feedback. It's been great to give gentle reminders to submit feedback and updates, so you can have better tracking and also avoid recency bias when more structured and significant employee reviews come around.
