What we value most about Profit.co is the combination of a flexible, well-structured OKR platform and a highly-responsive Customer Success partnership. The product supports alignment and visibility across our business units while allowing customization to fit our organization structure. In addition, the tailored onboarding and ongoing support have helped us fully leverage the platform's capabilities, particularly during our migration.
How it allows you manage a Multiple KPI's with multiple team members
The variety of different check-in approaches, maintained in a monthly check-in framework, enables all of our different teams to manage key results that are specific to their needs in a consistent manner.
While the PowerBI integration is valuable, connecting OKR data to existing PowerBI reports requires writing DAX queries, which adds some technical complexity.
Interface is not attractive and on the go presentation feature need to improve
The downside of so much flexibility is that default reporting can be confusing for users because of the specific ways the organization is using the system. As a result, we've had to customize the reporting to two specific views, each of which requires selecting specific filters to show correctly. Overall, the platform is primarily targeted at weekly check-ins with quarterly goal-setting. Since we are a monthly/annual organization, most of the functionality has been adjusted to support our way of working, but there are occasionally edge cases that come up that cause issues. For example, the monthly grace period that enables check-ins after the last Friday of the month if there are holidays. This works most of the time, but we discovered over the holidays that the close of the year automatically closed out check-ins despite a grace period being set. There are several export-to-PowerPoint reports that have some configuration available, but still leave room for improvement and additional configuration options.
