The all-in-one file platform. It combines managed file transfer, secure link sharing, cloud integrations and automation in one place. It also supports a broad set of protocols, and integrates with major cloud services like AWS, Azure, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. reducing the need for multiple tools. The platform is straightforward to onboard, with built-in connectors, SDKs, API and automation tools that allow file workflows to be configured without custom scripting. This helps reduce manual work and streamlines partner and client collaboration. Files lets you automate file routing, notifications and conditional workflows, helping reduce manual tasks and giving IT better visibility into file activity.
Easy to deploy and get new users setup. Quick leaving curve for end users who have never used it before. Does what it's supposed to.
What stands out most is how simple it makes something that's usually clunky. Uploading, accessing, and sharing files just works without extra steps or confusion. The interface feels clean, permissions are easy to manage, and it's reliable. You don't have to second guess whether files went through or if someone can access what they need. It saves time and mental effort.
One negative feedback would be the pricing being relatively high and not flexible enough for smaller corporations. The cost model doesn't always produce direct cost savings or staff reductions. While the core features are strong, certain sync and transfer options aren't always clear or fully supported between some systems, requiring clarification from support. And of course, setting up sophisticated automations with custom systems requires deep knowledge.
Customer support can be a bit slow and for the cost I think it's a bit much for what we need it for.
If I had to pick a downside, it's that some of the more advanced features and settings aren't very obvious at first. If you need to do anything beyond basic file sharing, it can take a bit of digging through menus and documentation to figure it out. It's powerful, but not all of that power is immediately intuitive for everyday use.
