Overall, the Everpure (Pure) experience is great especially when you have "Evergreen" subscription model. Management interface is very simple to navigate, and the performance is top notch.

Evergreen Subscription Model is very useful. You can upgrade controllers and hardware without buying storage again. It' stay every green (up to date with new versions). It also help with ITOps budget that we can predict cost of storage. Moreover, Pure support is also very helpful, specially remote support. Deduplication and compression ratio is pretty good as well.

I like the reliability and speed of the flash storage specifically for hosting our virtual machines, the remote assistance for firmware updates that can be scheduled at my convenience with the Everpure team directly, and the preconfigured snapshots, data reduction, and data security features.

Phenomenal compression and deduplication - 14T of consumed storage occupying 2.8T of physical disk.

I think only two things 1. Cost to justify for low performance data is hard to convince IT decision maker 2. If you need more storage unit to be part of the eco system. It's bit expensive if you add on storage in unit.

I was a little shocked at the pricing to renew the annual maintenance fee. It is a closed eco system so you cannot consider being without some form of maintenance arrangement.

Sometimes it's nice to be able to peel back the covers a bit - this isn't feasible for many details - you have to trust the data you see.

The product works extremely well and the support and service from Everpure and their local vendors is amazing. The equipment was installed over 4 years ago and we have not had any issues with the equipment.

Easy administration - no need to worry about disk groups, partitioning, RAID types - the Pure administration portal takes care of all of it, you just allocate portions of storage to the consuming devices as needed.

Manufacturing

If you need strong performance and Support, Pure is the answer to your storage questions.

Pure is not the cheapest, but the performance and the support (pre and post sales) has been world-class.
