Best part is that it has reduced dependacies on DBA so we won't have to dedicate a separate DBA team
Due to only being a storage company and not a division of a larger organization, their investment in R&D and focus means they are consistently industry leaders in features and uptime. It is also extremely simple to deploy and maintain which allows us to spend less time managing our storage footprint and more time on other important tasks.
Documentation is sometimes difficult to track down, especially for new features Virtual appliances needed for VMware plug-in integration Naming of vVols in vSphere is not able to be modified for clarity
No dislike is particular but yes the product is expensive, but it is reasonable up to some extent
1. They don't have a small inexpensive product to compete for small ROBO deployments (sub ~XX k USD), 2. We have had some hardware failures, although not disruptive at all they were inconvenient 3. The flasharray controller layout changes often between versions and models, making it difficult to keep cabling and port standards consistent.
