My overall expeiernece with GitHub for software supply chain security has been positive. Its greatest strength is that security capabilities are directly integrated into the platform where devs already manage code, dependencies, and CI/CD workflows. This is a massive reduction in friction when compared to operating a completely separate security platform that devs have to leave GitHub to use.
