My experience with HCL Tech Data center outsourcing service has been reliable and consistent, they handle routine operations like monitoring, incident management and infrastructure support efficiently with structured processes that help maintain stability and reduce risks. The support team is responsive and collaborative, especially during critical situations and operations metrics are reasonably good as well.

HCL is a highly flexible partner providing Midrange Services within our IT environment. Changes to the service are easily discussed and adopted by the team. The changes in the teams set-up then, need reflection in contract as well, which then was not always too easy, as the Legal team, nor any other support team such as HR or Finance from HCL are as flexible as the delivery team. The team itself works self-dependently and according to the standard-operating-procedures. The only reason why not being able to provide a 5-star rating is, because they unfortunately do tend to not think out of the box, or communication between the teams sitting in 1 room together is not happening.

    Great customer focus to achieve service excelence

    HCL is our partner for a number of years, and what I appreciate is the flexibility on services and the customer focus. I said partner and not vendor becausec HCL will do all needed to ensure we get the level of service we need to conduct our business corectly. HCL manage our I&O services including infrastructure and helpdesk, and they listen to our needs, continuosly review quality and improve based on findings. Managed services provided covers backup and recovery, server management, cloud and many others.

    Overall, we had a positive experience. The team demonstrated very good execution and administration capabilities, maintained timely delivery, and engaged effectively with stakeholders to understand business needs. One area for improvement would be taking more self-driven initiative to help validate client needs and proactively assess the environment for potential improvements that could lead to modernization initiative
