We have chosen to do the complete digital transformation for our company. HCL effectively handled the Cloud Migration and also modernized the complete tech estate. HCL also supports and provides value adds through Application support. When HCL teams took up the account, they deployed all the capable teams across multiple domains in SAP and Non-SAP. They have also deployed specific teams who have both functional knowledge and also relevant technical knowledge. This helped us massively as they got the requirements from day 1 and started working on the digital transformation as soon as teams are deployed. HCLTech team effectively worked with us to transform the delivery and support with various delivery mechanisms and DevSecOps and thus delivering the value quickly to business teams. HCLTech team ensured that heightened monitoring is in place using the appropriate monitoring tools. HCLTech team brought in the AI capabilities using their proprietary tools like iONA and also strengthened the CyberSecurity practices within our account. HCL not only played technical role in delivery, teams helped to achieve our business goals related to RIIO2 and also helped in shaping the plan for RIIO3.

There are multiple things which were requested to the team in various scenarios. Most of the time, we noticed that there is a wide knowledge gap within the team. sometimes we encounter the same sort of issues that keep repeating even though the team was provided with ways of working. This could have been avoided proactively. For Snowflake specifically, we see too many escalations & gaps with par gaps in the process & knowledge. POs have to pitch in and guide the team in most cases. Apart from the other operational teams, the PCI team is exceptional in delivering the things. Feels like most of the technical & functional teams are relying too much on PCI and this should be avoided by frequent KT sessions on ways of working, as they occupy most of the time.
