HPE Zerto Software Likes & Dislikes
The product is very robust and supports multiple use cases be it Data Protection (backup), Disaster recovery and Migration very well. The dashboard is also very well organized, most of the things are self-explanatory. So, in simple words, easy to Implement, configure and operate. However, due to some IP conflicts which are used by Zerto appliance by default we faced issues during implementation, but it was when we received the world class services from Zerto support team to get out of that situation.
The concept is very good When scoped correctly, it can deliver what is promised Powerful features that work
Fast and dependable failover with clear and repeatable workflows. Simple interface that makes administration easy.
My only concern is the expensive and complex licensing, otherwise it will be a 5 star rating
It requires a lot of care and feeding.
The need to manually modify IP and DNS at the failover site during implementation.

Zerto Offers Robust Disaster Recovery With Complex and Costly Licensing Model
Zerto is a robust & modern disaster recovery tool and data protection tool. We used it for a different use case which was sort of migration (Cloud repatriation) One of the key strengths is its journal based continuous replication feature which eliminates the risk of data loss. At the same time, the licensing is very complex and costly as well. - IT MANAGER1B-10B USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
Intuitive Management Experience Noted with Network Configuration Challenges at Failover
Our overall experience with Zerto has been good. The platform perform reliably, is easy to manage, and has consistently delivered fast and predictable failover results. The interface is intuitive, the learning curve was minimal, and the product has proven itself during testing and real events. The only challenge we ran into involved modifying IP and DNS settings at the failover site. If we were to do this again, we would stretch layer 2 to keep the same addressing and eliminate that step entirely. - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE50M-1B USDSoftwareReview Source
Zerto Offers Fast Disaster Recovery But May Challenge Limited IT Budgets
Great experience overall with Zerto for fast recovery and DR orchestration. Their CDP model enables a much faster recovery and drastically reduces data loss due to disaster or outage. Plus, deployment can be on prem, cloud, and hybrid. - It Architect50M-1B USDIT ServicesReview Source
Bit-to-Bit Copy Integration With Virtualization Brings Reliability, But Documentation Lags
It is a good solution for disaster recovery scenarios, easy to setup and with reliable quality - ENGINEER<50M USDManufacturingReview Source
