Stable Kubernetes integration with inconsistent documentation and performance challenges
The platform provides a reasonably stable K8s-based orchestration environment with solid integration to other Huawei Cloud services (networking, storage, and security). CCE aligns well with standard K8s workflows, however the documentation quality of these services is inconsistent and troubleshooting guidance can be limited. Some advanced configurations require more manual intervention than expected, for example, checking how many and which deployments are using a specific PV or PVC storage. Our company is also actively investigating performance inconsistencies in our production deployments. While the orchestration and autoscaling configurations are implemented correctly based on official documentation, the platform has not consistently delivered the expected website performance improvements under scaling events. This has required additional performance analysis and tuning to determine which technological layer the bottleneck originates from. - Manager of IT Services1B-10B USDMediaReview Source
Elastic scaling significantly reduces operational costs, but documentation still needs improvement.
We use Huawei Cloud CCE to support stateless front-end services, such as search and advertising. We mainly leverage CCE's elastic scaling capabilities to respond promptly to our tidal business requests, which greatly shortens our resource preparation cycle (from monthly to minute-level) and reduces business operation and maintenance costs by 30%. Huawei Cloud CCE is mature and stable overall, and the user experience has been greatly improved after several upgrades and optimizations, but the documentation needs further upgrades and optimizations. - Operations Associate50M-1B USDMediaReview Source
Rapid iteration speed and heterogeneous resource management support efficient daily operation and maintenance.
Huawei Cloud CCE is the most critical of the multiple cloud services we use, supporting the operation of several core projects, including multiple environments such as development, testing, and production. CCE's current Kubernetes version strategy supports full version tracking, keeping pace with community developments and allowing us to quickly experience the latest Kubernetes features. Furthermore, CCE's cross-version upgrade and in-place upgrade strategies significantly reduce our version evolution pressure and improve our operational efficiency. This year, CCE released an intelligent operations and maintenance agent assistant, providing configuration recommendations, which greatly simplifies our daily operations and maintenance management. The overall experience and optimization have also been greatly improved in the past year. In addition, our after-sales service is among the best experienced of many vendors. - Finance Manager50M-1B USDBankingReview Source
The CCE Turbo cluster has optimized latency performance, but log display details need improvement.
Huawei Cloud CCE service, in collaboration with AOM/LTS service, builds a cloud-native container observability system, supporting the reporting of monitoring metrics to alarms and uploading them to the cloud management platform. This helps us achieve comprehensive monitoring of metrics, log streams, and events, as well as unified operation and maintenance of cloud container applications. Simultaneously, the CCE team proactively addressed our business needs, providing an interface that supports Node OS kernel parameter optimization, helping us to perform targeted tuning of operating system parameters based on actual business operations. Additionally, we recommend enhancing the log interface management capabilities, as the firewall has issues such as incomplete information display and an unclear full-screen display button. - Presales Consultant Manager1B-10B USDIT ServicesReview Source
Easy-to-Use Platform for Simplified Software Delivery with Reliable Performance and Cost Efficiency
Huawei Cloud CCE helped us standardize how we deliver software, making development faster and operations across R&D, testing, and productio nmuch simpler. We run our staging, UAT, and production environments on CCE, which gives us great high availability, flexible resources, and smart scheduling making managing microservices and middleware way easier. Pricing is also competitive, giving us cost-effective foundation that helps us move faster and stay resilient.
