Controls management, great customer service, lots of options for prebuilt connectors, ability to run automated tests on evidence, ability to integrate with other team's workflows through Jira or ServiceNow for tasks, automated recurring tasks, audits module, bulk imports, ability to use scopes to break down a control into different entity controls, easy to use and learn
The ability to log control issues in a consistent and structured way, which helps us manage non-conformities and risks more effectively. Being able to build up a picture of which control, on which systems/processes are failing is great for management. The integration of evidence collection makes audits smoother and less resource-intensive. Integrations help us stay on top of evidence collection and put the work that is needed in the queue of the teams that need it. The strong support and responsiveness from the Hyperproof team whenever weve had questions or needed guidance has been amazing.
Of all of its strengths it was really it's integrations with the technologies incorporated into our security stack that were most excited to implement strategies for. Outside of that, the risk register for accountability and risk management platform for our various compliance requirements is what made this acquisition a no-brainer.
Service accounts used in hypersyncs have overly permissive access in source system when it's not needed Had quite a few errors when setting up hypersyncs that needed to be resolved by engineering team Would like ability to filter on reports brought in as proof (or option make csv/excel format) Ability to compare 2 pieces of proof for automated control testing (e.g. comparing a terminated employee list to a user access list to confirm no terminated users appear)
The main issue is that they've provided the ability to have vendor assessments but the module (as of h2 2025 feels a little half baked compared to industry leaders). It can also be a steep learning curve for those without a strong risk and control background.
Steep learning curve for new users, integration with certain 3rd party tools needs improvements, and occasional lags for real-time data updates.
