Very user friendly. Difficulty was in finding the best consultants to help implement. Went through various consultants before we were able to secure our "A" team. Found that consultants from Partners are preferable to Corp IFS consultants. Was a great solution that allowed us to easily have separate Revenue Recognition from Invoice billing - which was not easy for many software solutions to accomplish. We utilize nearly every module in IFS, including Manufacturing, Leasing, Supply Chain, Accounting, Service, Projects - pleased with the software's ability to serve most needs we have within our business.

HR, Expense and CRM functionality is not strong. Expense functionality is not robust and doesn't allow us to use and meet our compliance requirements. CRM is not robust and was the area where we sought a different software solution to interface with IFS.
Read Full ReviewOpenness of the data model. I think IFS could be way more transparent about how their system works. In comparison with for example MS products or SF products it is quite poor how IFS is documenting their software.

As an administrator & implementor, IFS has improved our integration capabilities with RESTful APIs and has completely streamlined how we connect with our B2B & EDI Platforms with bespoke integration projects now being replaced with straightforward API configurations. Security is enforced with the use of 'projections' which offer granular control and are extremely powerful, giving us the ability to obfuscate information and actions from unintended users, or applying read-only to ensure the integrity of data. We have found support, development and R&D responsive when launching as we had initial issues with order entry due to the sheer volume of orders/order lines generated in our telesales department, and to the software we were a new unconsidered use case.
