Pragmatic risk reduction, delivered on time and under budget
The Infosys team was professional and competent. They were able to, with, I think, greater than average effectiveness, draw out the business needs/problems we were dealing with, and develop solutions that were targeted and effective. They also finished ahead of schedule, which caused the project to come in under budget, which is a huge win. Overall they did very well, and were great partners. One thing they could have done better is to gain a more comprehensive view of our needs before signing the SoW. We probably would have given them more work and increased project scope if we had known at the beginning of the project that certain solution options even existed. The 'factory model' that we have with Infosys is a really good model and allows us to ramp up teams very quickly. We have established a 'waterline' of work with team and the ability to flex around this mark means that we can be very agile in how we spin up teams from Infosys. When the Global pandemic hit us Infosys's strength as a partner was very evident in that we had to shut down projects very quickly but they worked very closely with us and even kept a number of resources in place to smooth the transition and ensure that our business wasn't disrupted.
