I like that the APIs are open, easy to use, and well documented. It makes it feel like we have complete access to our data. The heavy lifting is done by Insights Hub, but the case specific application wrappers and tools can all be created and shared with Insights Hub. In general I am very happy and really like the balance that Insight Hub creates between the security of something that would be closed source, but at the same time the freedom and creativity allowed by a tool that is open source. It is nice that insights hub has such easy integration with everything, including on the device side, having connectivity software that can run on third party devices is a huge plus. It allows me to choose what parts and pieces of insights hub I would like to use and combine with other tools/hardware that I am either more familiar with or have set up a framework in previously. The dashboarding tools in Insights Hub are incredible, and the dashboard designer specifically has been extremely useful.
Easy to set up Not much maintenance work
Standardization capabilities (KPI's in different regions and factories). Benchmarking and Events as Realize Live. Continue support by our Customer Success Manager.
There is very little that I dislike about the product. Maybe the only thing that could be improved would be more details/instructions on the compatibility of the data acquisition devices (mindconnect Nano etc..) and the actual hardware onsite (PLC). Stuff like how impacted the network and plant side connectivity will be as a function of more data acquisition points. One other thing might be the AI predictions application. It would be really cool to have the AI predictions automated and then write the forecast for a given asset back to another variable for that asset so that we could compare the forecast to the actual data on a dashboard.
Changing the pricing suddently. Api rate limits for the cheaper plans, some are very low.
Cost structure (possibility to divide the cost by Plant and app use). Platform not yet multilingual, (technical support maily in english).
