1. bulk operations - deliver software/configurations to a huge batch of devices in a very quick way. - I believe the system under the hood of C8Y is made specially for this 2. very quick and easy way to find distinct devices, manage this device, adjust, etc. 3. robust system, with growing fleet, quickness of the GUI, operations, events is not decreast. Of course increase of nodes regularly are necessary. But that is taken care of very well together with my colleagues and SAG.
Dash board functionality(GPS, sensor value monitoring, etc),because it's easy to develop.
The platform is immediately operational and offers a range of native services (connectivity, monitoring, analytics) that can be used directly by non-technical teams without additional development. Cumulocity also provides its users with the ability to develop additional custom features. The following features have been really appreciated: - Extensibility: the platform's ability to integrate custom microservices and applications adds significant value beyond standard IoT features - Powerful API and CLI tools: well-documented and robust, enabling easy integration with scripts and programs. - Rich Open-source ecosystem : A vast open-source community and resources
- Groups - Smart Groups (dynamic groupping) = they are on one page together, can result in chaos, poor visibility. Too many people / opionins and such problems ;) Cumulocity is looking into an improvement though! - User management as an admin, for a lot users is a bit tough / time consuming

In getting rid of obstacles, changing and adjusting quickly of necessary features or adding new features and this so always with long term thinking! - this excellence continued also after migration got completted successfully over the globe. Support given is indeed exceptional to this very day. I do not want to compare and cannot disclose other companies here though. But from a couple of years experience I can tell. - Cumulocity has grown into a major pillar of our device management. - Cumulocity is up to its tasks, enabling us to perform worldwide operations in a very - very quick manner. I am not a sales person nor from finance, but it safes a lot money. - the vendor Software AG is also supporting very well on the continuous improvement of our needs with adding new features into Cumulocity throughout the versions they deliver. Customizing Strengths Noted but Update Quality Concerns After Acquisition
Overall it is a great IoT plattform. I like the possibilties and customizing options. I like the support and contact to the Cumulocity team. I am not sure about the AIoT part, at the current state it's more marketing with the buzzword AI for me. I am also not sure about the buyout.
