this tool is easy to use, immediate, the interface is nice and enables you to also use emoticons in your status to make your job more friendly .
Mattermost enables me to create unlimited communication channels in one spot. Additionally, Mattermost supports large file sharing and has a robust backend integration capability.
Unavailability of built-in video conferencing capabilities forces me to integrate MM with external web conferencing platforms.
I think other competitors give you more usage chances, such as the possibility to plan and host calls in the platform, and the chance to use an integrated sharepoint
I slightly dislike that Mattermost requires an external web conferencing application integration to conduct video calls.
