Ease of setup, ease of use and overall integration with Google/Phone services, enabling the team to become highly productive, using 1 tool for contact/alls/chat.
Simple and integrated
What I like most about Google chat is that I can communicate and easily share files with my team members, and always in sync with the rest of the Gsuite tools. Google Chat gives you room to express yourself without failure which makes it a great software for communication.
Integration with our 3rd party Telco presented a lot of issues, some of which were down to the 3rd party provider having no links into the Google platform that were usable. Time was an issue as the 3rd Party Telco took time to bring a suitable product that we could link our Google Tenant to for telecommunications. Great prodcut when it arrived,3 months after we were expecting it.
One thing I don't like so much is the lack of clarity around threads. So, conversations can sometimes feel a bit disjointed, especially in group chats. If someone replies in a thread, it can be easy to miss. I would say it does not feel like the most flexible tool.
Google chat is a great and fantastic tool that does not have any defects.
