Ease of setup, ease of use and overall integration with Google/Phone services, enabling the team to become highly productive, using 1 tool for contact/alls/chat.
Simple and integrated
It works well with other Google tools like Gmail, Drive and meet. I can quickly chat with teammates, share files or start a video call without any trouble. It also keeps group conversations organized, which makes it easier to follow what's going on.
Integration with our 3rd party Telco presented a lot of issues, some of which were down to the 3rd party provider having no links into the Google platform that were usable. Time was an issue as the 3rd Party Telco took time to bring a suitable product that we could link our Google Tenant to for telecommunications. Great prodcut when it arrived,3 months after we were expecting it.
One thing I don't like so much is the lack of clarity around threads. So, conversations can sometimes feel a bit disjointed, especially in group chats. If someone replies in a thread, it can be easy to miss. I would say it does not feel like the most flexible tool.
It is missing support for tools like Github or Jira, you need to setup them manually. Also, message formatting is very basic, which makes it hard to share code, logs or detailed updates in a clean and simple way.
