MediaGuard Likes & Dislikes
- Reputation: Human has held strong its reputation in the space as a trusted source of IVT detection - Service: Early in our partnership with WhiteOps/Human, I was often frustrated at the lack of attention to requests and other needs I had to use the product and interpret the results. That has completely changed. - UI: While Human has moved to a UI, I'm still using the legacy UI. It's like comfort food for me.
keeps us from getting into trouble with our buyers
I personally like accuracy and the available parameters in the mediaguard. In the world of high speed auctions, having access to granular data points such as detailed reasons and their respective definitions and SIVT classifications is incredibly valuable. Mediaguard provides transparency that we need to understand the underlying cause of why a particular request for flagged - whether it was due to automated browsing, spoofing attempts, etc.
1) I'd like more intel about how the fraud rate of our suppliers compare with the same suppliers that our peers that use Human observe. This would help us understand where we need to focus to improve quality. 2) I think there's likely value in some of the policy features. I think if Human would create trainings or videos on tips about how to get the most of these features, I'd use them more (I recently asked for best practices on how to use the delisted app reporting). 3) While I'm comfortable using the UI, I'd love a bit more customization. Case in point - I primarily pull reporting for our tool, yet every time I log in, I am forced to take the extra step of choosing our tool from the drop down (FS is the default)
IVT scores are not consistent across the same inventory when scanned by the same product. IVT scores are not consistent with any other product on the market (more of an issue of all IVT vendors not specific to this one)
1. I personally disliked their new explore layout as compared to their legacy layout. The older legacy layout was far easier to use and navigate. 2. When we intend to download a report, the generation process can take significant time. We often need to wait for a while before the report finally shows up in the 'Reports' section for downloading it. If the file size is larger or covers a broad range of parameters, the wait time increases even further. 3. When navigating to different sections of the explore, the filters don't always persist. At times, we need to re-select the same date ranges or fields that we want.

Improvements in Service Approach Mark Notable Shift for Human's Customer Experience
I've said it before, and my thoughts remain the same: Human really shifted towards a strong service approach to its customers a few years ago, and it shows. My account manager and my AE are fantastic. - Operations Associate50M-1B USDSoftwareReview Source
Detailed IVT Data Enhances Transparency While Report Generation Remains Slow in Mediaguard
The overall experience of using Mediaguard has been wonderful. The fields that mediaguard report provides are quite sufficient for the pre-bid IVT analysis. The most significant advantage here is the granularity of the data. It provide details for IVT and not just binary (Y/N) output. The available data from the mediaguard really helps us to narrow down on the root cause of the IVT issue. The IVT data is also fragmented in two parts which provides us with better insights - SIVT and GIVT. By using these SIVT and GIVT stats, we can get to the details of the issue. Mediaguard's performance has been great so far, ensuring that our pre-bid filtering does doesn't compromise with the ability to win the bids / impressions. - Marketing Manager<50M USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
High Value Fraud Detection Stack for DSP Workflows, with a Learning Curve
We use HUMAN for fraud/IVT protection in our DSP workflows, specifically leveraging MediaGuard and FraudSensor. Overall, our experience has been strong. The biggest value is the combination of pre-bid decision and post-bid validation, which gives our team a more complete view of traffic quality and helps us make cleaner supply decisions over time. - Director of Engineering<50M USDMediaReview Source
Effective Fraud Protection Highlighted Amid Gaps In Integration Health Monitoring Features
MediaGuard has delivered strong results in protecting our digital channels from fraud and suspicious activity while keeping friction low for legitimate users. Integration was solid and pretty straightforward. - Director of Operations50M-1B USDSoftwareReview Source
Fewer Quality Escalations With Mediaguard, Though Improvement Needed In IVT Transparency
Mediaguard is quite detailed in terms of flagging IVT. The overall discrepancy has reduced and the number of escalations regarding the quality has reduced drastically.
